Rick Nichols is licensed in Arizona as a real estate agent.  He was licensed in the spring of 2010 and has been affiliated with Homesmart ( since that time.  Nichols brings a high level of experience establishing high customer service standards, personal ethics, work ethic, marketing skills and professionalism to his real estate transactions.  These are traits learned in over 30 years in sports marketing, sales and operations.

Prior Professional Experience

Nichols has been key front office executive with National Football League teams for over 27 years of his professional sports career.  He work in Houston (Oilers), and Denver (Broncos), and most recently Arizona (Cardinals). The Houston Oilers (now Tennessee Titans) twice appeared in the AFC Championship Game only to lose the eventual Super Bowl Champions. The Broncos won two NFL Championships while Nichols was a senior member of the executive staff. In 2005, at co-owner John Elway’s request, Nichols assisted the Colorado Crush of the Arena Football League, as they captured an AFL Championship.

Nichols later served as COO of Broomfield Sports and Entertainment where he oversaw the Colorado 14ers in the NBADL and the CHL hockey team, The Rocky Mountain Rage.  The 14ers reached the NBADL Championship Game during his tenure with the team.  The Rocky Mountain Rage rebounded from an expansion year record to the playoffs while he was COO of the team.

While with the World League of American Football, Nichols teamed up with a football staff headed by current New York Jets Offensive Coordinator Chan Gailey, who took the Birmingham Fire to a playoff appearance.

Nichols career has been highlighted by being awarded three World Championship Rings; (SB XXXII, SB XXXIII) and the 2005 AFL Arena Bowl, as recognition of those organization’s championship efforts.
